Information About Manassas Spinal Decompression

Greetings!! Dr. Paola and Dr. Ed Carlton would like to welcome you to Carlton Health & Rehab. We feel that our personal one-on-one approach to each patient and their needs is why we are so successful at treating chronic back pain patients. Let me explain why we take such a personal approach to our patients' problems.

In 1980, I was injured in an industrial accident which left me with three severely compressed discs in my lower back. For the next four years, the pain was so severe I was required to use a cane to get around. I tried everything medically available: shots, medications, extended bed rest, and strengthening exercises. All failed to provide me with any significant relief from my chronic pain. Finally, just shortly before I was scheduled for surgery which would have fused the lower three bones in my back permanently, I was taken to a chiropractor by a family friend. As a result of the help I received in his office I was able to return to my life with only a low level of pain remaining in my right leg.

Subsequently, I retired from my work as an engineer and following several years of intense study entered the chiropractic field. I am pleased to say that since 1990 my wife, Dr. Paola Carlton and myself have been providing chronic pain relief to patients using chiropractic, physical therapy, and any other cutting edge technology we can find. I was the first patient on our spinal decompression table when we first installed it in our office three years ago. As a result of this new treatment, I now have absolutely no pain remaining in my legs for the first time in nearly twenty years. Needless to say, we are proud to offer this new technology to all of our patients who suffer from chronic pain and are in need of help.
